I have just discovered a fantastic tool which allows us to integrate audio on to our web sites. Oh yes, I know there are a whole range of software products to be had, which will allow you to do the same and I do own a couple of them myself.
The difference with this tool from Odeo.com is that it is completely online and supplies you with, not only recording and playback services, but also a range of tools to allow you to host and promote your own Podcast for what ever purpose you may want.
You can set up an account with the minimum of effort and you can start recording within a couple of minutes. Everything you need, such as rss feeds and html promotion code, are set up automatically for you. So all you have to do is record your post and paste the HTML code to your Blog, Web site or E-Mail.
Odeo allows your subscribers to sign up with a minimum of fuss and they are also able to make written or audio commentaries about your podcast.
All in all, Odeo makes your job as marketer a lot easier. Oh and by the way, this podcast has been made with Odeo and did I say that you can use it for free?
