This is my last post on Stormpay and 12DailyPro …

I imagine that this topic will be a "red rag" to a lot of people these days. Stormpay must be banging their heads against the wall, that they ever got involved in this in the first place.

Just this week Stormpay sent out an e-mail to all users, who were also members of 12DailyPro (which is offline, by the way). Apparently 12DailyPro has been put into receivership by the SEC, which just about raps it up for Charis Johnson.

I am sure that this is not the end of the story. There are most certainly aspects to this which will certainly mean criminal investigations against Johnson and others. I am sure we will hear about it when time comes.

This scandal will change the way we do things online. Myself, I have already moved to other types of payment processors and a lot of colleagues have reported doing the same. Will Stormpay survive the storm? Only time will tell.

Here’s the Stormpay message:

Dear Michael,

You are receiving this notice because of your recent involvement with 12dailypro.com.

The S.E.C. has issued a standing order preventing charge backs against those purchases/investments. Any customer requesting a charge back or refund either through their credit card issuer or bank are in violation of the order. Specifically, users are prohibited from “using self help (including, without limitation, initiating or processing charge backs of any monies used to purchase or upgrade membership units in or with 12DP) or executing or issuing or causing the execution or issuance of any court attachment, subpoena, replevin, execution or other process for the purpose of impounding or taking possession of or interfering with”.
