What’s happening at Stormpay?

Like a lot of people I have been dabbling in 12DailyPro for the last few weeks. I must admit the impression I get from the people at this autosurfer is positive. During the whole time I have been “dabbling” they have been very forthright in informing the members about various problems which have cropped up.

The “E-Gold” fiasco was one of them. They made sure that all of the members, who were in E-Gold, were still paid after they suspended using this payment processor.

Looking at the reports posted in the last day, it is obvious that Stormpay has stopped payments for several autosurf websites. Allegedly this was done because of fraudulent usage of using two different payment proccesors on one system.

Stormpay has changed their “Terms of Service” to reflect this change of policy:

Policy Update

Due to high volumes of fraudulent transactions made to merchants with commission based business models, StormPay can no longer process payments for those type of merchants who choose to accept more than one payment processing solution.

What they now have done is to blackmail autosurfers to use only Stormpay for their transactions. 12DailyPro did actually change their website and removed the EMO links.

Today, 12DailyPro sent out a further e-mail explaining they have reversed their decision on this and have replaced Stormpay with EMO.

We want to let you know that we have decided to become proactive in this matter, after a full day has passed with no explanation from them of why our account has been suspended. Our attorney has submitted a letter to their attorney via email explaining our postion and requesting a response. Barring a legitimate explanation by Stormpay within a timely manner, we will be filing immediate legal action to recover all our funds by legal force if necessary so we can meet our responsibilities to all of our StormPay members in a timely fashion. We will update you on the progress of this matter. We promise to fight them to the death for money that rightfully belongs to you and us.

Other reports I have seen today say that Stormpay does not have enough cash reserves to be able to make due payments on large sums such as the withdrawal that 12DailyPro originally wanted. I have no hard facts on this, so it is just speculation at the moment.

What makes the whole situation more suspect is the fact that the Stormpay website is down at the moment. I have been trying to reach the site sporadically for the last three hours with no success.

Let us hope this is not a portent of worse things to come.
